VIPA International unveils website and visual identity
VIPA International, the Vacuum Insulation Panel Association, is pleased to announce the launch of its website and visual identity. The website is online and available as of today, 13 February 2015, at www.vipa-international.org.
VIPA International was officially created in August 2014 by 10 companies, including both manufacturers and suppliers of vacuum insulation panels (VIPs). Born with the objective of representing the interests of the VIP industry and increasing visibility to this technology, VIPA International has now 12 full members and 2 associate members.
In addition to the website and logo, VIPA International is also releasing today its first case study, showcasing the advantages of this super-insulating technology. VIPA International leadership is very pleased with what was accomplished in just one year’s time. The website will provide the association with an easily accessible platform to communicate about the activities of the association and raise awareness of vacuum insulation panels.
Oved Shapira, Vice-President of the association stated “we spent a considerable amount of time in 2014 to create the association and put the basics in place, like our logo and website, released today. We are excited about what 2015 will bring us and we look forward to having more companies aboard to help us driving this industry forward.”
The association is already working on the plan of activities for 2015. This includes commissioning technical studies; understanding legislation affecting the industry in Europe, USA, China and Japan; contributing to the standardization process; participating at IVIS 2015 (International Vacuum Insulation Symposium), just to name some. Another priority of the association is to be more representative of the VIP industry as a whole and ensure the main market players all over the globe are present in the association.
