Vacuum insulation panel industry gathers next week in Japan for IVIS

VIPA International is a proud sponsor of the fourteenth International Vacuum Insulation Symposium (IVIS) taking place next week, from 19 to 20 September 2019, in Kyoto, Japan.

This year’s event is organised by the Kindai University in Japan. The vacuum insulation panel community will gather for two days of networking, debates and sessions about the research, development and production of super insulation materials, including vacuum insulation panels, in applications ranging from buildings to appliances and transport. VIPA International will have a series of internal meetings including its General Assembly just before the start of IVIS, on 18 September.

VIPA International’s President Gregor Erbenich (Porextherm) will be the keynote speaker of the opening session of IVIS on 19 September: “we are all looking forward to meet new companies and partners that can eventually join our association and contribute together with us to the progress and growth of our industry” stated Gregor Erbenich.

Many company members of VIPA International will be speaking throughout the different sessions and poster presentations or will be present with a booth in the exhibition area of IVIS. Our membership is looking forward to meet with the vacuum insulation panel scientific community and industry in Kyoto for another edition of IVIS.
