VIPA International attends International Vacuum Insulation Symposium
The Board of VIPA International is very pleased with the outcome of the association’s internal meetings in Nanjing on 18 September. The members had the opportunity to review the activities of the association and to discuss the priorities for the next months. The annual report of activities of the association was approved and released. Dr Roland Caps (va-Q-tec) was elected for a second mandate as President of the association.
VIPA International was a silver sponsor of the 12th edition of the International Vacuum Insulation Symposium. Dr Roland Caps was one of the keynote speakers of the opening session of the event. The VIPA exhibition stand raised the interest of many companies, universities and researchers. We also had the opportunity to meet with the Chinese Insulation & Energy Efficiency Materials Association (CIEEMA) as well as with some government. representatives.
Roland Caps stated at the end of the event: “we are very happy with what we accomplished during IVIS 2015 in China and we are looking forward to the next edition in France.”
The 13th edition of IVIS is scheduled for 2017 in France. More details about precise dates and venue will be communicated in the coming months.
